Hiking at Mt.Iraya, Batanes, Philippines

For those who love mountain hiking, Mt. Iraya is perfect for you. It is around 1000 meters above sea level with a clear view of batanes and with fresh cool air on top of the volcano. From Basco, it takes around 3 hours hike to get to the summit. At the top of the mountain, you will be able to have a good view of batanes in a clear sky. In our case, going down is much faster maybe because of gravitational pull and many times we have to glide because of slippery route. You will also see a diversity of species found along the way but be sure to bring a tour guide you.
