The blood compact site between Rajah Sikatuna and Miguel Lopez de Legaspi (1565) monument built to symbolize the first treaty of friendship between the Filipino and Spanish people. Each year, the Boholonians commemorate this with the Sandugo Festival and the celebration begins in March.

There are daily flights going there and about 1.5 hours by plane from Manila to Tagbilaran Airport but boat can also be used (approximate 25 hours) to get there. The chocolate hills consist of hundreds of hills that resembles a chocolate appearance during summer due to its brown color and is recently nominated as one of the 7 new wonders of the world.

You can also swin with the whales and dolphins at Pamilacan Island and ride down the Loboc River. Other attractions of the island include: Hinagdanan cave found in Magaso, Inambacan falls of Antequera, island of Cabilao, and marine sanctuary of Balicasag, for those who loves diving.
