Heritage Village, Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines

The Heritage Village is located in Vigan, Ilocos Sur Philippines is sometimes referred to as a "living museum" because it resembles the old spanish architectural structure. Tourists who visits the places says it's a journey back in time. Vigan is officially listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Paoay Church, Ilocos Norte, Philippines

Paoay Church is one of the favorite travel destination in Ilocos Norte, Philippines and is included among the lists of UNESCO World heritage. The church was said to be founded in 1593 by Agustinian Missionaries and the cornerstone of the church was laid in 1704, the convent in 1707, and the tower in 1793. However, the church was damaged by earth quakes and the tower was used by the Katipuneros as observation post during the Japanese Revolution.

Windmills at Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines

This giant windmills can be found at Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. They are environment friendly since they convert wind energy into electricity as an alternative source of energy. There are 15 turbines measuring about 70 meter high and they are also visible at Pagudpud Beach.

Patapat Coastal Bridge, Ilocos Norte, Philippines

If you've been to the province of Cagayan in Region 2 and planning to go back to manila via Ilocos route, you will be able to pass by Patapat Coastal Bridge which is near the beaches of Pagudpud in Ilocos Norte. Instead of creating a highway by clearing the mountains, which they normally do, they constructed a bridge along the shoreline making it a unique bridge in the Philippines.
