How to go to Hundred Islands?

There are daily bus trip (schedule) from Cubao going to Alaminos which costs P381 one way. Then from Alaminos you can go to Lucap and ride boats for an island hopping experience. If you have your own vehicle, from Manila you can take the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) then use SCTEX and exit at Tarlac City. From Tarlac city - Sta. Ignacia - Camiling - San Clemente - Mangatarem - Aguilar - Bugallon. From Bugallon, you turn left (right turn is going to Lingayen its the opposite) going to Labrador - Sual - Alaminos. Then from Alaminos you can go to Lucap where there are boats waiting. For accomodations you can refer to my previous post "Where to stay in Hundred Island?" From Lucap you need to hire boats which will take you to the different Islands, there are standard rates which will take you only specific islands (governor's, children's, and quezon island) for a fixed rate. However, I would recommend you to hire a boat for the whole day so you can also visit other islands which are not so popular but are equally interesting. Be sure to bring your lunch, water and snacks during the island hoping experience.

Hundred Islands national Park is located in Alaminos, Pangasinan, Philippines and there are daily trips by bus (Bus schedule) from Cubao to Alaminos. From Alaminos, there are hired boats for island hoping experiences and to several activities like swimming, snorking, diving, picnic, fishing, etc... It is composed of 123 islands and islets but there are three main islands, namely: Quezon Island, Governor's Island, and Childrens Island. However, there are many islands which are equally interesting and unique just ask the boatman for more details. According to a legend, there used to be only one island before in the Place. However when a fisherman threw his net, he caught black stones instead of fishes. In disappointment, he threw them away back to the sea and suddenly he heard a rhumbling sound and bigger waves started to appear. The black stones he threw in the Sea then became islands.
