The Famous Boracay Beach, Philippines

Are there any filipinos who doesn't know about boracay? If there are, am sorry for you... The beach in boracay is definitely one of the best in the world, and its something that we should all be proud of! It is located in northwest tip of the Panay Island, in Caticlan. From Caticlan, you have to take a boat ride going to the island itself. There are several ways to get there: travel by air to Caticlan; travel by air to Kalibo, Aklan and then one hour by bus to Caticlan; travel to Caticlan by overnight ferry; or travel by road using Ro-Ros (roll on, roll off). Boracay is famous for its white beach around 2 km in length, and along the shorelines you can see restaurants, bars, hotels, resorts, stores, etc... You can go to the butterfly garden on Bolabog beach, island hoping or sailing with the Red Pirates, horse riding, watch fruit bats, have a relaxing massage, kite boarding, and if you want you can get a henna tatoo or have a hand painted t-shirt at Plazoleta. For details and more information, you can visit the site boracayinfo.net.
